About

Chicago Usability Designer + Artist

I make a living happily – planning & designing user-friendly websites, e-commerce shops, business directories, & intranets at Orbit Media Studios, Inc. However, I am also a mixed media artist by night.  “Fashion graffiti” is the best word I can think of to describe what I do, since most pieces are a combination of painting and drawing on top of magazine advertisements.  I find it therapeutic to graffiti those images – making them more imperfect. I believe making art is an opportunity to express myself imaginatively, authentically and spontaneously to find personal fulfillment, emotional healing & transformation.  My art is sometimes nonverbal, abstract and metaphorical, but it is my voice.
